The Embassy of Finland supports the new Self-Employment Programme

The speakers discussing the Self-Employment Programme.The Embassy of Finland launched today the Self-Employment Programme together with the UNDP and the Kosovo Ministry for Labour and Social Welfare. The goal of the programme is to enhance the entry of young adults and disadvantaged groups into the labour market through self-employment. The International Roma Day gathered together the heads of state and the civil society

The flag of the Roma Community reminds of the first conference in 1971.The International Roma Day was celebrated for the 26th time on Wednesday 8th of April. The Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities are an integral part of the Kosovan society and the rights of the Roma community were discussed also in Pristina. The Conference supported by the US Embassy and honored by the the presence of the Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, the US Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson, the OSCE head of mission Jean-Claude Schlumberger and several representatives of the civil society.
