Book of condolence for President Koivisto will be opened at the Embassy

President Mauno Koivisto

Former Finnish President Mauno Koivisto passed away on Friday 12th May 2017. A book of condolence will be opened at the Embassy of Finland in Pristina on Thursday 18th until Monday 22nd of May 2017. Members of the public and organisations can present their condolences in the book or online.

The book of condolence will be open at the Embassy of Finland in Pristina on Thursday 18th -22nd of May 2017 from 9.00- 16.30. The address is Str. Perandori Justinian no. 111, Peyton, Pristina.

Condolences can also be presented online at https://koivisto.presidentti.fi/. The web page will be open from Tuesday 16th May until on Friday 19 May.

President Mauno Koivisto was President of the Republic of Finland for 12 years, from 1982 to 1994. He was Finland’s ninth President. Before his presidency, he served as Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Governor of the Bank of Finland.
