Finns meeting at KFOR, Piritta Asunmaa, Jari Salonen and Anne Huhtamäki.

On the occasion of the visit of NATO’s Deputy Secretary General Rose E. Gottemoeller and the NAC KFOR Format on 26 October, 2017 to Pristina, Finnish colleagues from Brussels and Pristina had the opportunity to meet and compare experiences of KFOR on the invitation of COM KFOR Giovanni Fungo.

Ambassador Piritta Asunmaa from the Mission of Finland to NATO in Brussels met with Lieutenant Colonel Jari Salonen from the Finnish contingent of KFOR and Ambassador Anne Huhtamäki. KFOR is among the military crisis operations to which Finland has contributed the most troops along the years ever since 1999. In addition to the Finnish contingency at KFOR in Film City, the Finnish contingency has a Liaison and Monitoring Team working in Drenas.
